Do you want to have healthy eyes? Of course you do. By having healthy eyes, you can see world better. Therefore, you must change your habit or lifestyle that needs you to leave some bad activities and do some healthier activities. One of those activities that are better to do now is eating certain foods. 3 Foods below will help you to keep your eyes healthy.

First food is kale. Kale is a type of cabbage and it is very important for your eyes because it contains high zeaxanthine and lutein. This leafy green can decrease the risk of cataracts and illness related to age. If you do not like kale, you can eat other foods that also have that nutrition such as egg, spinach, and broccoli.

Second, foods that have omega-3 fatty acid inside it are also recommended e.g. salmon and sardine. It is proven to prevent AMD or age-related macular degeneration and improve the visual function.

Third and last food is carrot. You may confuse whether carrot does really help your eyes healthy or not but in several studies, beta carotene inside the carrot which is need to change vitamin A in liver can make the retina work better.
